The Caring Place @ St. Paul's (TCP) opened in October 2019. TCP is a ministry, that is, a service to God and our neighbors. This ministry began because members of St. Paul’s felt a call to provide a place of safety downtown for homeless people.

 

     For this ministry, members and friends of St. Paul’s gather each Thursday between 10 am and 2 pm in the Brewster Room and provide people who have housing insecurity with a safe place where caring relationships happen. 

 

     We welcome guests from the immediate neighborhood of St. Paul’s (including the YMCA), the Main Library, the Samaritan Center (also a ministry begun at St. Paul’s), the Near North Side, and the Rescue Mission.
