The Buildings and Grounds Committee keeps track of St. Paul's physical plant, the Church and the Parish House, identifying what is needed for repairs, maintenance, cleaning, changes in use, and construction. The Committee, with direct help from the Building Manager to contact suppliers and contractors, monitors the progress of projects; we confirm with the Finance Committee that the money required is included in the budget, or is added for unforeseen expenses. And we report each month all that we do to our Vestry.
Our buildings and furnishings represent the gifts of all of our members, past and present, who have been faithful and generous to St. Paul's. They are substantial assets that support our religious and social life, our presence, in Downtown Syracuse. We acknowledge our responsibility to maintain and improve them for the benefit of our parish and for our efforts to exercise Christian Mission and Service in Syracuse.
